Motorcycling has made me happy for the past 50 years. Perhaps the disadvantage is that we can carry only one passenger at a time. Scott Harrison can carry 57.

I formally met Scott in the summer of 2022 when I rode my motorcycling up to see him on a beautiful summer Saturday morning. Wow, what a gentleman. We met a Train Cars Coffee. Sharing a coffee and fresh mini-donuts in a vintage rail car, Scott shared with me his vision for the Carousel. Joy beams from his eyes knowing that his project has touched the hearts of more that one million riders so far. What a gift!

Like the experience of motorcycling, when we're moving, life is very good. On the carousel, life is also very good as we move to music from a vintage Wurlitzer band organ atop a lovingly carved animal. From the jolly carousel operators to the children and adults who take a ride, Scott's creation has indeed made the world a better place.
